Description

Communicating Your Research to Funders and the Media

Join us on Wednesday, October 1, at noon for a discussion on:

• How to present your work to corporate and foundation funders
• How to approach corporate and foundation funders
• What types of research and creative scholarship make the news
• How to get help preparing and pitching a story about your work to the media

This discussion is appropriate for both new faculty and longtime UHM research staff interested in expanding their funding horizons and better communicating their work. It will be led by a representative from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and UH Foundation’s Corporate and Foundation Relations office.
