Donor Stewardship

You are here

Our donors are family. We strive to nurture and build lasting relationships between UH and those who support the University with private gifts by keeping donors informed and involved. As an advocate for donors' interests, the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation fosters and encourages private support by:

  • Acknowledging contributions in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner;
  • Recognizing donors in meaningful ways; and,
  • Reporting to donors in a timely, consistent and accurate manner on the use, impact and financial management of their gifts.

If you have any questions, please contact Terri Alvaro, our director of donor relations.

Donor Recognition Societies

Our donor recognition societies exist to honor and thank the visionary philanthropists who have invested in our collective future.

Events

Events give donors an opportunity to meet the students, faculty, and administrators who are benefitting from their contributions. From songwriter's conferences to scholarship dinners, events give donors opportunities to experience the many facets of excellence found on UH campuses and through UH programs.
