Leeward CC Theatre donors and patrons were inspired and entertained at a special event celebrating the educational and enriching role the Theatre plays in the Leeward community.

During the evening guests were drawn into lending their voices to a performance that exploded into a flash mob complete with energetic youth performers and dazzling aerial artists.

Among the performers were assistant theatre manager Lehua Simon and student performers from music professor John Signor's classes. The entire evening appeared effortless due to the hard work of theatre professor Don Ranney's technical theatre students and stage management by visual arts professor Mike Harada.

Joe Patti, Leeward CC Theatre Manager, presented the audience with artist renderings and news about the pending theatre renovations. Guests also learned how they can support the Theatre through the new 5-year naming sponsorship opportunities as well as permanent naming options.

"Our theatre is a major performing arts center for the Leeward area of O‘ahu. We take pride in the many opportunities we offer our students to learn and the array of shows and performances we share with our over 100,000 annual theatre goers.
