Support students and honor Chancellor Clyde Sakamoto’s 40 years of leadership at UH Maui College.
The Chancellor’s Legacy Campaign seeks to recognize Chancellor Sakamoto for his tireless work supporting students and strengthening Maui County’s economy through higher education. This effort is being spearheaded by the Chancellor Legacy Campaign Committee.
This legacy campaign will support that vision in perpetuity through the Sakamoto Scholarship for Academic Leadership and the Chancellor’s Award for Entrepreneurial Innovation. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to fully fund these endowments.
The campaign will culminate with a Gala Dinner in Spring 2013. At that time, the endowment will be announced and presented to Chancellor Sakamoto in appreciation of his lifelong service to our community.
