UH Mānoa Libraries

imgEach day, thousands of students, faculty, visiting scholars, community members and alumni use the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Hamilton and Sinclair libraries in person or online. They find books and journals, consult with librarian subject specialists, study, practice presentations, complete research projects, and prepare for their careers.

The UH Mānoa libraries contribute to student success by providing research materials through their substantial collections, as well as partner institutions and offering workshops and tutorials that enhance study and research skills.

Serving our community and our world

The UH Mānoa libraries offer distinctive physical and virtual collections and makes them available to users around the world. For example, staff created a collection of piano pieces written by emeritus musical faculty Whitney Thrall and placed them on ScholarSpace to be available for UH piano students.  Since 2012, the collection has been accessed by people around the world from the mainland to Norway to Japan.
