Mom of 5 finds hope

My name is Kareen. I am a mother of 5 beautiful children. As a mother I realized that I needed to better myself to be a role model and a better provider for my children. I went back to school this year to continue my journey of obtaining my bachelors’ degree. I was working full-time and going to school full-time when this pandemic hit. My kids’ school closed and it was a matter of my kids’ health over working. What to do? I am a mother before anything else, so I stayed home knowing my decision to stay home will bring about a big impact on our financial situation. My car loan and bills still had their due dates.
 
This award brings more than just financial help, it brings hope. There are still people out there who care about the less fortunate. We will get through this pandemic together.
