A small luncheon was held at the Queen Liliuokalani Student Services Center early Monday afternoon. Bilinski fellows warmly thanked representatives from the Bilinski Educational Foundation for supporting their research and enriching their graduate educational experience.

Recipients Carl Polley, John Davis, and Larry Davis welcomed Bonnie Severietti, Executive Director of the Bilinski Educational Foundation, and Judy Tuttle, Director of the Bilinski Educational Foundation, on behalf of the Departments of Linguistics and Second Language Studies at UH Mānoa with a lei presentation. Chancellor Virginia Hinshaw joined in the celebration and thanked guests for their commitment to graduate education in the humanities, through the advancement of linguistics and second language studies at Mānoa.
