With help from the Halekulani Hotel, the Foundation hosted a special dinner for Hoku Society members on Friday, August 3, at the Halekulani's Hau Terrace. Guests enjoyed a beautiful evening with a sunset reception on the lanai. This was followed by a delicious 4-course dinner, prepared by Executive Chef Vikram Garg, a donor and supporter of UH culinary programs.

Over dinner faculty and university administrators shared stories with donors of how their generous gifts have had a positive impact on UH and our community. The program included a thank you from UH President MRC Greenwood as well as a presentation of donor recognition gifts. The evening ended on a high note with UH Mānoa Music Chair Larry Paxton performing American standards for our special guests.
