Generous donors who support Leeward CC students and programs, and Leeward CC retired faculty and staff were honored at this year’s Donor Mahalo Reception. Student scholarship recipients mingled with the guests, grateful for the opportunity to personally thank the generous people who are supporting their education.
Chancellor Manny Cabral inspired attendees with his campus update, Liberal Arts student and scholarship awardee Navella Pomisino inspired guests with her personal story, and Vice President for Community Colleges John Morton warmly thanked everyone for the important role they are playing in the lives of students and our broader community.
UH Foundation CEO closed the program by thanking donors who support the campus and its students. She also shared that more than 1,000 students have been helped with scholarships since the Leeward CC campus opened more than 40 years ago.
