Mr. Hemenway's gift from his estate has provided more than 6,500 scholarships to promising students at the University of Hawaiʻi. His hopes are for recipients to give back to the community in return for the assistance they recieve. Through these scholarships, Charles Hemenway will continue to transform the lives of students and their families for many years to come.
