Case Foundation Gives $300,000 Toward UH Business Plan Competition
Award to be used to Introduce Social Enterprise Award Category
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) - The University of Hawaiʻi Business Plan Competition will be strengthened by a three-year, $300,000 investment by The Case Foundation, a charitable foundation established by AOL co-founder and Hawaiʻi native Steve Case.
David H. Murdock Institute for Business and Culture Donates $50,000
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) - The David H. Murdock Institute for Business and Culture recently donated $50,000 to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa through the UH Foundation for flood relief efforts at Hamilton Library. The institute is the private foundation of David H. Murdock, chairman and CEO of Dole Food Company and Castle & Cooke, Inc.
