Shidler’s donation will fund additional exterior and interior building renovations at the College.

(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation received a $500,000 gift to establish a $1 million First Insurance Company Distinguished Professorship at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business. The $500,000 gift was matched one-to-one through matching funds provided by Jay Shidler’s $25 million donation last September.
