First Insurance Company of Hawaiʻi Funds $1 Million Professorship at Shidler College of Business
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation received a $500,000 gift to establish a $1 million First Insurance Company Distinguished Professorship at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business. The $500,000 gift was matched one-to-one through matching funds provided by Jay Shidler’s $25 million donation last September.
