Deloitte & Touche Funds $500,000 Distinguished Professorship at Shidler College of Business in Honor of Lloyd Fujie
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation received a $250,000 gift to establish the $500,000 Lloyd Fujie/Deloitte Foundation Distinguished Accounting Professorship Endowment Fund at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business. The $250,000 gift was matched through Shidler Matching Funds for a total of $500,000.
Tolmies Provide Critical Scholarship Funding for UH Hilo

The Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa received $50,000 to establish the Hawaii Business Magazine Endowed Scholarship. The initial $25,000 gift was matched one-to-one through the Shidler's Matching Gift program to total $50,000.

Ernst & Young Partners Terri and Larry Rodriguez Establish $300,000 Scholarship Fund at the Shidler College of Business
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — Current and former Ernst & Young Partners Terri Fujii and Lawrence Rodriguez have jointly established a $300,000 endowed scholarship at the UH Manoā Shidler College of Business. The initial gift of $150,000 was matched by Jay Shidler matching funds to total $300,000.

BAE Systems Funds Six Engineering Scholarships through University of Hawaiʻi Foundation

Former Miss Hawaiʻi Candes Gentry Establishes $50,000 Scholarship Endowment at the Shidler College of Business
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation is proud to announce the establishment the Candes Meijide Gentry Endowed Scholarship at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business. The initial $25,000 gift from Gentry will be matched with funds from Jay Shidler's $25 million gift, increasing the total value to $50,000.
Norman Loui Estate Gift to Honolulu Community College: Largest gift to a UH Community College will enhance workforce training opportunities in Hawaiʻi
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The Honolulu Community College recently received the historic Norman Loui Estate Gift of over $3 million. In recognition of this historic and transformational gift, the UH Board of Regents approved the renaming of the Kapalama Media Conference Center to the Norman W.H. Loui Conference Center.
