Fellowship award from San Diego-based company adds to Industrial Affiliates Program

(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) - The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s College of Engineering has received a gift of $25,000 from Science Applications International Corporation [SAIC, NYSE: SAI] to support graduate student fellowships.

UH Mānoa Osher Lifelong Learning Institute receives second $1 million endowment

Nearly a year after receiving its first $1 million endowment from The Bernard Osher Foundation of San Francisco, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa has received a second $1 million endowment from the Foundation. The UH Mānoa program is one of only five university-based lifelong learning programs in the U.S.

Gift is largest in Maui campus’ history

(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) - The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents (BOR) voted today to accept the largest gift ever to Maui Community College (MCC) - a $1 million commitment from husband and wife Dorvin and Betty Leis to advance sustainability initiatives at the campus.
