Annual Giving plays a vital role in building broad participation and meaningful connections across the University of Hawaiʻi. Through ongoing outreach and engagement, including our annual UH Giving Day, we make it easy for donors to support the people and priorities they care about across the UH system. Giving Day brings the UH community together each year to celebrate impact and encourage collective support for campuses, colleges, and programs statewide.
The Annual Giving department:
- Conducts year‑round online, direct mail, and telephone outreach to alumni, parents, and friends of UH
- Leads and supports systemwide fundraising efforts, such as UH Giving Day, inspiring participation and shared purpose
- Engages alumni at every stage, inviting them to remain connected to the university and its mission
- Employs and mentors UH students through our student calling program, connecting peers with philanthropy and purpose
