Accounts Payable Supervisor
Under the direction of the Controller, this position shall have knowledge of the organization’s accounts payable and fiscal policies and procedures to oversee the accounts payable functions.
Associate Systems Administrator
The Associate Systems Administrator:
- Provides help desk support, assisting end-users with technical questions and troubleshooting.
- Assists the Systems Administrator with various technical and special projects.
- Assists the Systems Administrator in providing server and network system support, including maintenance and upgrades for Microsoft Active Directory.
Director of Development
The Director of Development for the College of Natural Sciences (CNS), Institute for Astronomy (IFA) and the Waikiki Aquarium (Aquarium) is a seasoned and experienced professional with a proven track record of outstanding performance. This professional will demonstrate the highest levels of commitment to the UH Foundation values. The Director of Development is a key member of the Development Team, primarily focused on identifying, engaging and soliciting prospective donors for major and leadership gifts that support the visions of the Dean of the College of Natural Sciences and the Directors for the Institute of Astronomy and the Waikiki Aquarium. The Director will close gifts and steward donors so that positive and mutually beneficial relationships continue. The Director is expected to serve as a top performer within the Development Division of the Foundation.
Director of Prospect Research & Relationship Management
The Director of Prospect Research & Relationship Management (“Director”) gathers, organizes, manages and disseminates information on prospects, suspects, and donors to guide and support: sound and effective discovery of suspects; constituent research; management of prospect portfolios; and accompanying analytical research and methods in support of fundraising efforts for the University of Hawai‘i Foundation (“Foundation”). The Director manages the research program for major and principal gift initiatives, including planning; and implements and directs a comprehensive program to support activities that identify and develop relationships with constituents, to encourage their support of the University of Hawai‘i (“University”). In collaboration with organizational units, the Director also analyzes, evaluates and disseminates information to help identify and cultivate future donors. The Director advises on the assignment of major and leadership gift prospects/donors in collaboration with the Development leadership or the CEO. The Director advises Foundation leadership on the establishment of policies surrounding contact reports, portfolio sizes, moves management, KPIs and metrics for development officers based on the latest industry best practices and benchmarks established by (but not limited to) CASE , APRA , and AASP ; as well those used by peer institutions. The Director also works closely with Alumni Relations leadership to identify alumni engagement leads. The Director may advise on the capture, content review, and acceptability of contact reports by development officers. The Director creates and implements procedures, sets priorities, assists in the maintenance of the department budget, and oversees department staff.
Senior Executive Director of Donor Development
The Senior Executive Director of Donor Development (SEDDD) oversees central donor development services and coordinates sound and effective central fundraising and donor engagement activities for the University of Hawai‘i Foundation (UHF). The SEDDD will establish principles, adhere to effective tactics and apply progressive solutions to maximize philanthropic investment and donor engagement. He/she will build a culture of collaboration and enhance relationships with friends and donors in coordination with University of Hawai‘i offices and campuses. The position manages several functional areas within the central donor development services including scholarship development, annual giving, donor relations, and special events. He/she will provide leadership through strategic guidance.
Data Entry Student Assistant
The student assistant provides support to the Office of Data and Technology Services, under the supervision of the Data Management Specialist.
Estate & Gift Planning Student Assistant
The student assistant will provide support to the Office of Estate and Gift Planning at the University of Hawai‘i Foundation.
Prospect Research & Relationship Management Student Assistant
The student assistant will provide support to the Department of Prospect Research & Relationship Management through a variety of administrative office functions.
Scholarship Development Office Student Assistant
The student assistant will provide support to the Scholarship Development Office. The student assistant will report to the Assistant Director of Scholarship Relations and will be expected to perform a variety of tasks.
Shidler College of Business Student Assistant
Under the supervision of the Development Assistant for the Shidler College of Business, the Student Assistant will assist with the administrative office functions.
Student Assistant, UH West Oahu Development Office
The Student Assistant, UH West Oahu Development Office (Student Assistant) will assist with the administrative office functions of the UH West Oahu Development Office under the direction of the Director of Development and Alumni Engagement, UH West Oahu.
Student Calling Center
UH Foundation's Annual Giving department is alive with UH students who report to work each night knowing that through their efforts, they will raise important funds for the university. This money is designated by donors to support areas such as scholarships, library acquisitions, equipment and other valuable resources that greatly enhance the student experience.
