Associate Director of Special Events – Alumni and Regional Engagement
The Associate Director of Special Events – Alumni and Regional Engagement is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of events and programs for the UH Foundation. These programs will connect alumni, donors and friends to the University of Hawai`i System (UH). The position will manage events from pre‐ planning through post event follow up within Hawai`i, across the United States and internationally. This position will work closely with various UHF and UH staff including and not limited to alumni engagement, athletics, and leadership to create experiential events that encourage engagement with the UH System.
Chief Administrative Officer
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for monitoring the execution of the University of Hawaii Foundation (UHF) plans at the department level. The CAO is in charge of making sure the day-to-day operations of UHF runs smoothly and effectively. The CAO is a key member of the organization’s senior management team and works closely with the Board of Trustees. The CAO is also an important partner to University constituents regarding management of fiscal and accounting services and administration.
Development Assistant, Shidler College of Business
The Development Assistant, Shidler College of Business (“Development Assistant”) is responsible for providing administrative support to facilitate the fundraising work of the Shidler College of Business (“Shidler”) Development Team fundraising professionals. Key responsibilities include providing development, account management and administrative support.
Development Coordinator - Estate and Gift Planning
The Development Coordinator - Estate and Gift Planning (“Coordinator”) is responsible for managing donor events, donor administrative systems, records and communications to facilitate the fundraising and development efforts of the Estate and Gift Planning fundraising professionals. Key responsibilities include providing development and administrative support and independently providing oversight in the monitoring and implementation of the office’s overall business plan. Liaise and collaborate with all UH Foundation divisional teams and UH partners.
Director of Development Research
The Director of Development Research gathers, organizes, manages and disseminates information to guide the sound and effective advancement for the University of Hawai‘i Foundation. The director manages the research program for major and principal gift initiatives, including planning, implement and direct a comprehensive program to support activities to identify and develop relationships with individuals to encourage their support of the university. In collaboration with organizational units, the director also analyzes, evaluates and disseminates information to identify and cultivate future donors. The director creates and implements procedures, set priorities, maintain the research budget, and oversee the research and prospect management process.
The E-Communications/Multimedia Specialist produces photographic, video, web, marketing and social media content for the University of Hawai‘i Foundation (UHF) with the purpose of inspiring private support, alumni engagement and UH pride.
The In-House Counsel will serve as an integral member of the management team of the Foundation in support of the University of Hawaii Foundation with the responsibility for corporate legal affairs and legal aspects of nonprofit corporation status and the Foundation’s fundraising and asset management mission. This position will act as counsel to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and all committees of the Board; act as the in-house legal adviser, drafting, revising and reviewing corporate and contract documents, providing legal advice and support on all matters affecting the Foundation operations.
Alumni Relations Student Assistant
The student assistant provides support to the Office of Alumni Relations, under the supervision of the director of alumni engagement programs.
Scholarship Development Office Student Assistant
The student assistant will provide support to the Scholarship Development Office.
Student Calling Center
UH Foundation's Annual Giving department is alive with UH students who report to work each night knowing that through their efforts, they will raise important funds for the university. This money is designated by donors to support areas such as scholarships, library acquisitions, equipment and other valuable resources that greatly enhance the student experience.
