Honolulu — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation is pleased to announce that Dale Hagadone has been hired as the director of annual giving. In this position she will lead the annual giving team which collectively raised more than $1.5 million last year to support University of Hawaiʻi students, faculty and programs statewide. As director, Dale will manage the design, strategy and implementation of comprehensive campaigns that involve the student call center, direct and electronic mail for each campus and college within the University of Hawaiʻi system.

Dale comes to the Foundation after more than 25 years managing Hawaiian Airlines' call center/reservations department. Her most recent position at Hawaiian Airlines was senior director of reservations where in addition to her other responsibilities she executed the transition plan that resulted in a successful reservations call center in the Philippines. Dale obtained her BS with a major in travel industry management from Hawaiʻi Pacific University.

"Dale is a strategic and effective professional with extensive experience managing staff and projects," said Donna Vuchinich, president and CEO, UH Foundation. "We are very happy to have her onboard to help us raise much needed private support for Hawaiʻi's university."
