For the third year in the four-year history of Hawai‘i Community College’s Pālamanui campus in West Hawai‘i, the University of Hawai‘i and its scholarship recipients gathered to say thank you to donors, advisors and community members who contributed to their success.

On March 8, guests enjoyed encouraging words from community partners, and students shared how their scholarships enable them to pursue their goals. Hawai‘i CC Chancellor Rachel Solemsaas saluted students for their efforts and recognized supporters for making many of these opportunities possible. Chef Paul Heerlein and his students in Hawai‘i CC’s culinary arts program provided a delightful lunch.

Hawai‘i CC Pālamanui offers on-site and distance education classes from Hawai‘i CC, UH Hilo, UH Mānoa, and UH West O‘ahu. Pālamanui’s staff also provides academic support for students in online courses from any college in the UH system.
