The Schuler Family Foundation
The Schuler Family Foundation’s mission is to foster programs benefiting our communities, including programs focusing on the education, enlightenment and care of our youth, healthcare, particularly the funding of cancer research, and animal welfare.

The Foundation was conceived and created by Jim Schuler, who is also the founder of Schuler Homes in Hawaiʻi. In 2002 Schuler Homes merged with D.R. Horton, Inc. – one of the largest homebuilders in America — and two years later it formally changed its name to D.R. Horton – Schuler Division. The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation, a nonprofit organization, raises private funds to support the University of Hawaiʻi System. Our mission is to unite our donors' passions with the University of Hawaiʻi's aspirations to benefit the people of Hawaiʻi and beyond. We do this by raising private philanthropic support, managing private investments and nurturing donor and alumni relationships. www.uhfoundation.org
