Preserving Native Plants for the Future

Lyon Arboretum is home to a Micropropagation Lab. This is the only lab of its kind in Hawaiʻi. Here critical plant rescue and recovery research takes place to prevent the extinction of native Hawaiian plants. To save more of our natural heritage, the Arboretum has embarked on a capital improvement project.
