For more than a century, the University of Hawaiʻi has worked hard to make higher education accessible to all. Whether through one of the seven community college campuses or one of the three four-year campuses, UH is expanding its efforts to attract the most promising students, regardless of their financial circumstances.

As college costs continue to rise, the amount of private support for students must as well. Gifts to scholarships and student aid help us to retain our best and brightest and to provide access to a life-changing higher education experience for our students.

Kathleen Jaycox

Kathleen Jaycox enjoyed a 41 year career as an educator, helping students help themselves. Before her retirement in 2010, she served as a community college administrator in both Illinois and Hawai'i.

Sheena and Fred Ing

UH alumni and steady donors Sheena and Fred Ing are lifelong, dedicated UH sports fans who cheer the teams every chance they get. From holding season tickets in the 1970s and enjoying the Men's Basketball "Fab Five" run to Derek Tatsuno's baseball years, this energetic couple has been rooting for UH.

Annette Kaohelaulii

One of the things my gift has created is a scholarship for students who want to work in natural resources. This is my way of honoring Lorin’s memory.
