Furuli and Mordasini Join UH Foundation Team

Andrea Furuli is the regional director of development for Hawai‘i Island. In this role, Furuli leads a fundraising team in engaging donors and friends across the island on behalf of the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, Hawai‘i Community College and Pālamanui campuses.

Furuli comes to the new UH Foundation position from the Hawai‘i Community Foundation where she served as senior philanthropy advancement officer since June of 2015. Before that, she served at the UH Foundation in the UH Hilo Office of Development as associate director of development for eight years and then director for two years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Bianca Mordasini is the new director of alumni engagement for the Shidler College of Business at UH Mānoa. In this role she is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with alumni and graduating students of the Shidler College of Business by providing outreach and strategic engagement activity.

Before joining the UH Foundation, Mordasini served as the director of public relations and digital marketing at Trump International Hotel Waikiki where she was responsible for communication and advertising campaigns, brand management, digital platforms and community outreach. Before that, Bianca worked at the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii as the director of communications and marketing, and executive director of its Young Professionals Program.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
